Trevor {6 months/Family}

My baby is 6 months old already...where did the last 1/2 year go?  He is sitting up, has been for quite some time, but he likes playing on the floor and scoots in circles and backwards.  Still working on scooting forward, but it buys me time to baby-proof a bit more. ;)  He has two little bottom teeth, which are super cute, and very sharp.  He wants to eat table food, and we are working on introducing more solid  foods.  He is a very big baby!  21lbs, 28 inches long.  He is in the 92%+ in both height and weight.  I cannot even begin to describe how much I love being this little boy's Mommy.  It really is simply amazing.  Ok, now I'm crying.  Love you, Trev. xoxo 

Steve & Beth {Married!} July 2nd, 2011

Over July 4th weekend, my husbands family and I traveled to Canada for his cousin's wedding.  I was there as a guest, but I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.  Beth was very creative with the decorations, and even made her own cake.  Wonder Woman, right?! 

 We had a great time dancing, and enjoying the company of family--great weekend!

Wowwww....I just realized how far behind I am in updating my blog.  I really have been busy, friends!  :)  So, a pre-warning...lots of "previews" will be posted following this post....

My Life {More Happiness}

SO.....I have been blessed with a busy schedule!  I am so happy to be able to continue photography and stay home with my baby.  :)  Although, along with being a busy mom comes less time to edit and update facebook and the blog, not to mention my official website which is still very much a work in progress.  I am doing my best to keep up on things!  If you want to be sneaky and peek at the site before it is finished though, I guess that is ok, as long as you be promise to be forgiving of the flaws as I continue to work on it ;)

I am very excited about my new site, I will of course, continue updating the blog, the site however, will be so much more convenient, especially for new clients, as it offers info about me and my style, pricing, and online client proofing and photo ordering....{yayyyyy!}

There are a few sessions coming up this month,  including 3 engagements, a family session, and a wedding, and of course, I will be taking some 3 month photos of Trevor and posting those soon as well.

Well hello, feet :)

In the meantime, I wanted to share a few photos taken in the past couple weeks.  Hope you all have experienced some happiness, smiles, and laughter this week!



My kind of Happy :)

Here is a little look into my life and some of the things that make me happy...

My quirky bird cage necklace....Simply Vera purse in cream and brown, two of my favorite colors, and with ruffles :)....Clinique Happy perfume...it is like energy in a bottle :)

I studied Interior Design in college, and Pottery Barn seems to best represent my decorating style.  Also, I am a big fan of Real Simple...I love magazines that have great articles and fresh photos.

I treasure my wedding ring and what it symbolizes....I have a weakness for old, unique trinkets, they seem to quietly tell their own story.  Also, I love the first signs of Spring, and the first flowers and bright colors.  These daffodils are currently brightening up my kitchen window.

Orchids. Love Orchids. Enough said. :)

Trevor {Newborn}

Meet my sweet little baby, Trevor. As much as I adore photographing other peoples' children, it feels so amazing to be able to photograph my own little baby and capture him as he grows. My husband, Mark, and I welcomed him to the world on March 11, 2011 at 8:51pm, 8lbs. 12oz., 20" long. These photos were taken yesterday, at 9 days old. We are so in love with the new addition to our family, and are so blessed to have such a healthy and happy little boy. Check back in for more updates...I'm sure once I start feeling 100% again, there will be many more photos of my little man.
