Caleb, One Year + {Family}

Meet Caleb and his parents... I met them in Jenison, MI for some one year and family photos.  Angela is also a photographer, and styled their outfits amazingly. :) Having a little boy myself, and 3 nephews, I know how busy and adventuresome they are! Especially now that Trevor is almost a year old (since I am way behind on these blog posts--this session was done in October).  While running around, taking snack breaks and cuddle breaks, Angela said "this is real life".   It is so true....and some of my favorite shots are ones that are un-posed, pure and natural--they capture the time and emotion effortlessly.  

Trevor {6 months/Family}

My baby is 6 months old already...where did the last 1/2 year go?  He is sitting up, has been for quite some time, but he likes playing on the floor and scoots in circles and backwards.  Still working on scooting forward, but it buys me time to baby-proof a bit more. ;)  He has two little bottom teeth, which are super cute, and very sharp.  He wants to eat table food, and we are working on introducing more solid  foods.  He is a very big baby!  21lbs, 28 inches long.  He is in the 92%+ in both height and weight.  I cannot even begin to describe how much I love being this little boy's Mommy.  It really is simply amazing.  Ok, now I'm crying.  Love you, Trev. xoxo

Meet the VanderZouwen Family. I've known them since I was 10 when I met Gina in 5th grade...hard to believe! It was great to catch up a little and it is wonderful to see how their family has grown!
